Avant Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd. (AGMS) is a subsidiary of Avant Garde Security Services (Pvt) Ltd., and incorporated under the Companies Act No.7 of 2007 of Sri Lanka on June 24, 2011. The parent company, Avant Garde Security Services, is the largest security company in Sri Lanka employing over 6,500 personnel for the last 17 years. It has an unblemished record in providing land-based security to renowned organizations in the country, including key blue chip companies, banks and financial institutions.
AGMS entered into a joint venture with Government Owned Business Undertaking (GOBU) of Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd. (RALL) to provide infrastructure facilities and services for international maritime security services. We provide a comprehensive range of risk mitigation solutions to the global maritime industry with all logistical assistance to vessels transiting the Indian Ocean.
AGMS has a network of facilities in strategic locations to ensure that international maritime security companies obtain weapons and associated items for safe passage through piracy risk areas. AGMS/RALL officers are present at the relevant destination ports that disembark weapons so that they are safe under AGMS/RALL control after sea marshals hand them over before repatriation.
AGMS is a proud Signatory Company of the International Code of Conduct (ICoC), secured the Security Association Maritime Industry (SAMI) membership and in the process of obtaining affiliation to legitimate international maritime agencies.

AGMS has established dedicated Forward Operation Centres (FOCs) in strategic locations in the fringes of the littoral ocean including Sri Lanka. They are available on 24×7 basis on call. Our professionally qualified ex-military sea marshals, through Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd (RALL), provide an efficient service to facilitate weapons storage and security for Private Maritime Security Companies (PMSC) at the Government of Sri Lanka weapons and storage facilities onboard AGMS floating armouries stationed at Red Sea, Fujairah and Galle.

Each year, AGMS serves the community by responding to the medical needs of underprivileged children by providing them with financial assistance to undergo medical surgeries such as heart and kidney transplants as well as cancer and tumor surgeries. AGMS also contributes immensely to the development of infrastructure in government hospitals and donating medical equipment to enable underprivileged communities to access healthcare. Avant Garde also nurtures families with less opportunities by providing a monthly allowance and supporting them to start self-employment ventures. AGMS also supports children’s homes by providing orphaned children with the necessary tools and opportunities to carry out their education without interruption.
